Founded in 2019, Gifukudo was born from a deep respect for the art of the Japanese sword. Based in Tokyo, Japan, we specialise exclusively in sourcing and exporting authentic antique nihonto to collectors around the world.

Every blade we offer has been hand-selected from auctions and private collections across Japan, evaluated by certified appraisers, and prepared for international export in full legal compliance. We believe that a great sword deserves to find a great home — wherever in the world that may be.

All items come with official appraisal certificates (NBTHK / NTHK) and are exported in full compliance with Japanese law.
